Our Story

Huckleberry Ink began in the most unassuming of places—a tiny laundry room in Shelton, Washington—born from a simple need: affordable, custom swag for dance competitions. What started as a small side project quickly grew as friends, families, and local teams discovered the joy of high-quality, personalized apparel that didn’t break the bank.

As demand grew, the laundry room could no longer contain the creativity. When Nancy and Bill moved in together in Olympia, Washington, the business expanded and spilled into the garage, transforming this hobby into something more like a jobby. In 2015, Nancy and Bill made the life-changing decision to move to Rochester, WA, where the garage was transformed into a full storefront. Nancy took a leap of faith, left her day job, and began running Huckleberry Ink full-time—building a reputation for friendly service, reliable turnaround, and exceptional craftsmanship.

In 2025, the adventure continued as Nancy and Bill relocated to Oklahoma. While their new commercial building is being constructed on their property, they’ve set up a temporary workspace in their garage—bringing the story full circle, back to the roots of where Huckleberry Ink first began. Even in this transitional space, the heart of the business remains the same: a passion for quality, creativity, and community.

Today, Huckleberry Ink proudly offers a wide range of services, including:

  • Printed apparel
  • Embroidery
  • Laser engraving
  • Signs and banners
